Four things we all need in our life:
1. Something to believe in.
I choose to believe in God. Colossians 1:16 states; "Christ is the one through whom God created everything in heaven and earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can't see- kings, kingdoms, rulers and authorities. Everything has been created through Him and for Him." Everything includes me.
2. Something to do.
Work is good for the mind, body and soul. Our vocation is important and should be taken seriously. Anyone that has quality employment is a very blessed person. You don't need to be a CEO you just need to have something that you are responsible for and someone professionally you report to. Even if you own your own business you are still responsible to your customer. And on the importance of having something to do, remember that idol hands are the devils workshop. If you still don't believe me waste a half hour of your life and watch "NBA Wives" on VH1 (or the Housewives of any county or city on Bravo) and tell me that not having something to do isn't counterproductive and creates a miserable existence. It also causes misery for everyone around you. Do yourself and everyone else a favor and find something productive to do on a daily basis.
3. Someone to love.
We all need someone to love unconditionally and someone to love us unconditionally.
4. Something to hope for.
Dream. Dream. Dream. Walt Disney said it best when he said, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Hope equals courage.
