Midnight Blue (1963): Jazz guitarist Kenny Burrell featuring Stanley Turrentine on tenor saxophone, Major Holley on double bass, Bill English on drums and Ray Barretto on conga. Midnight Blue is one of Burrell’s best-known works for Blue Note Records. In 2005, NPR included the album in its "Basic Jazz Library", describing it as "one of the great jazzy blues records".

A Room With A View

Perspective: a way of regarding situations, facts, etc, and judging their relative importance.

Life is about perspective. Some have it; some don't. Below are three, scratch that, four of my favorite quotes concerning "perspective".

"In order to keep a true perspective of one's importance, everyone should have a dog that will worship him and a cat that will ignore him."

"Humor is perhaps a sense of intellectual perspective: an awareness that some things are really important, others are not; and that the two kinds are mostly oddly jumbled in everyday affairs."
                  -Christopher Morley

"The more you lose yourself in something bigger than yourself, the more energy you will have."
    -Norman Vincent Peale

"Be silent, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world."
                         -Psalm 46:10

View from atop the Eiffel Tower.

What do you see when you look from the mountain top? What do see when looking from the valley? What does your perspective say about you?

It's up to us what view we take of things.
